Description
¡Viva La Música! – Join the WMC for a program of beautiful music spanning from the 16th to the 21st centuries. We’ll perform Renaissance works by Tomás Luis de Victoria and Juan Ponce, arrangements by Argentina’s Oscar Escalada, folksongs from Spain, Mexico, Central and South America, and the world premiere of the TTBB version of Judith Shatin’s La Frontera (The Border), a setting of words spoken by unidentified detained immigrant youth.
